Welcome to St. Christopher’s EYFS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

St. Christopher’s EYFS is located within the Four Corners housing complex of British Forces Gibraltar. A stones throw from the Spanish border and a mere 11 miles from Africa across the Straits of Gibraltar, we enjoy mild weather year round. We welcome children from Service, MoD and entitled families who are posted here in Gibraltar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are usually between 25 – 40 children in our EYFS Unit aged between 3 – 5 years. We work in close partnership with Sunflowers 0 – 3 setting, with whom we share a building. In April 2019, we moved from Europa Point to a purpose built setting here in Four Corners. At the heart of the community, we are lucky to have access to a large outdoor learning environment which the children explore every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having close links with British Forces Gibraltar, we are able to host a wide range of visitors throughout the year. From Navy Divers to Dentists and Band members, these unique opportunities help bring our curriculum to life and celebrate the unique context in which we find ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being so close to Spain, many of the local population are bilingual, including some of our staff. As a result, we are able to introduce the children to the Spanish language and give them opportunities to practice simple words and phrases that they can use when families travel across the border. With popular holiday destinations a short drive away, there is lots to explore in this beautiful and historic part of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
